I have travelled a long career path (via law) to finally end up as a teacher, which is where I belong. I teach high school children and every day I encourage them to look critically at the world around them, to ask questions, to take nothing for granted, to develop their own ideas, to look with awe and wonder at the universe around them and, most important, to understand their place in it. I genuinely believe that anything is possible and that everyone, without exception, is truly great. I want to be exposed to as many new, interesting, bizarre, outrageous, thought-provoking ideas as possible firstly because I just love hearing how and what people think and secondly, so that I can take those ideas back to the kids that I teach and make them think too.
