THANK YOU to Alicia and the other organisers, for creating a space where my brain could be fried with pure concentrated awesomeness.

You guys pulled off an AWESOME event, and I don't think it could have been better organised or friendlier if it was done by TED themselves. I'd be first in line to attend the next one.

You were visibly emotional at the end of the event, and I can understand why. It shows that this was a big dream for you guys, and that you put a hell of a lot of energy and focus into it. The registration was painless, the catering was super, the speakers were beyond amazing and the whole event left me with a feeling of it being very well organised.

This event opened my eyes to a new world. It was like an acid trip for the soul. (I should copyright that one; I can see a new self-help book there)

I saw, for the first time in my life, the full capacity of human kindness, understanding, and collaboration. I felt a sense of kinship with everyone there.

The energy in the room was tangible, and I was hypnotised from Iain's deep and touching talk, straight through to the very enjoyable ending. I must admit that there were a few talks that left me with a tear in my eye, simply because it was so beautiful to see what happens when people start "being the change".

This event has given me an insight into what it means to be human, and it has left me with a few questions about the purpose of life, and where I fit into all of this.

TEDxJohannesburg most certainly achieved the objective of bringing together people with ‘Ideas Worth Spreading'. Sitting in the audience, surrounded by people celebrating those who are creating or doing innovative wonders, in random fields, which uplift communities was a profoundly moving experience.

It was a testimony to Africa's spirit of 'Ubuntu' which translates as ‘humanity towards others’. Having a day full of positivity was truly heart warming.

I tried to mail you all yesterday but words still seemed to fail me. I was on a complete high and anyone who asked me how it was...well I just jabbered away like a woman possessedJ

Thank you so very very much for organising Sunday!!!

I was not only enthralled but truly inspired to go beyond all my crazy dreams and odd ideas and bring them to life. It is a remarkable thing when someone can take what they love, share it and succeed beyond their wildest imagination.

I said “I want to do my own TED talk” before I die...on my nametag...and being there on Sunday made me believe this is possible...

Firstly congratulations on the event yesterday. A tremendous effort and success. What a privilege it was to attend.

I wanted to share the fact that I walked away profoundly moved, inspired and humbled. In fact, on the drive home I knew that I had just had a life changing and affirming experience. So much so that when I got home, I started preparing my 'talk' for TED, outlining my ideas worth sharing :). I am so passionate about what S.Africans do everyday and the highlights were the personal stories of some of your speakers. I look forward to filling out that application form next year ;), since I know I would have accomplished more because of yesterdays event.
