12 Decades is a self catering hotel tracing the history of Johannesburg with rooms conceptualised by some of South Africa’s most celebrated artists and designers. The 12 Decades opened on July 17 2010.

12 Decades is a unique art boutique hotel. It inspires its guests with accommodation that is custom themed by artists, with each room designed to depict Johannesburg during one of twelve different decades.
