It's been a crazy month of building the website, finding some of the right speakers and getting things going... but TEDxJohannesburg is finally on its way.

So far our list of nearly confirmed speakers include Lewis Pugh, Tim Noakes, Susan Woolf and Steve Barnett - and you can expect just as amazing people in the audience as those up on stage. Remember to nominate the people you think should be speaking - your speaker might just get up on stage! Even if the speaker slots are full, there are always other TEDx at other times, of which your speaker may be able to take advantage.

The technical aspects are coming together and bloggers, the TEDxJohannesburg blog button is coming soon. Work around sponsors for all sorts of goodies is also underway.

All in all, seats are being filled quickly and we are doing the best we can to make a TEDx that makes a difference and, hopefully leaves a legacy too.
